We’ve all probably heard most of these… or maybe even “done” these:
Which perspective do you hold? The need to achieve or the ability to receive? There is a difference. Let me give you an example.
Years ago, I used to shun compliments when I received them. I also used to work all the time and was always running around trying to prove my worth like a maniac. Busy. DOing.
It took me forward with a certain level of success, but it cost me so much. It cost me my health on all levels. It cost me peace, love, true success and wealth, joy, and true harmony in my life.
And it wasn’t my fault. Our societies and our families instill in us the mantras to just work hard because that’s what they’ve been taught or what’s been handed down for generations and somehow, they all forget how to truly honor the feminine.
The feminine needs space, time, creativity, thinking room, organic-ness, wildness and the ability to receive whatever it is she wants.
I was so far away and out of touch with my feminine I had NO CLUE how to be in harmony and allow her to come out, especially in my career. Because the masculine aspects were unendingly rewarded: DO, achieve, have, deliver, perform.
I’m here to tell you there is another way. You do not have to choose between being feminine and successful. You are allowed to receive whatever it is that you desire.
When we allow ourselves to receive and take inspired action from our true selves, we can then go out and achieve in a more natural and fulfilling way. Here are a few tips for this!
Tip #1: Make time each day for yourself to receive whatever it is that you desire. Design yourself into your day for what really matter and brings you joy. Coffee? Chocolate? A walk outside? Thinking time? A nap? Time to just “BE”? They can be yours if you make time for them as a priority. YOU are a priority.
Tip #2: Accept what is yours – fully! The compliment. The help. The acknowledgment. The time. The money. The love. The gift. Because it has a positive effect on our overall well-being and an energetic investment in. And have gratitude.
Tip #3: SLOW down and allow yourself to receive. Really, there is no hurry, it’s all in your mind and YOU own your schedule and your life.
Tip #4: Envision – right now – that you imagine what your life would be like if you were to receive more instead of do more. If you were to feel more fulfilled and in alignment. Because once you imagine and envision it, then you can start to make changes in your life and move forward in a new direction one small step at a time towards it.
Tip #5: Remember that you are capable, worthy, whole and not needing to run around. You can achieve more when you receive more. You’ll feel more balanced and in alignment.
