How to Live in The Moment Without Meditation or Yoga

There are many ways to live and be in the present moment, without going into a meditation, or practicing yoga. We may have these as a part of our daily rituals, but I’m sharing with you some other ways that are available to you, when you recognize you may be living in the past or worrying about the future.  

I love the practicing these other ways of living in the moment:

  • Our breath is our life. Just breathe in that moment.  Inhale, exhale.  
  • Take a walk outside
  • Get out in nature. It somehow dissipates the negative energy, or just grounds you, you feel better anytime you do! Besides, it’s beautiful, just. like. you.   
  • Eat a healthy meal or snack, and enjoy it in the moment you’re doing so, igniting your sense of smell, sight, and taste.

  • Notice what is right and good at that very moment. Have gratitude.
  • Put some soothing music on and be in the moment.
  • Pet your animal(s). 
  • Enjoy a cup of coffee or a cup of tea.
  • Journal.  
  • Read. Pick up a great book and be in the moment.
