“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.“ – Lao Tzu
When I read that quote years ago [and I HAD to share it with all of you], it stopped me in my tracks and made me really think about that.
It was the truth. And I knew it in my bones.
Yet there I was always running around, multi-tasking, achieving, accomplishing, DOing, and trying to stay 3 steps ahead of things and trying to accomplish everything.
Underneath all that running was fear. Fear of not being in control. Fear of not getting it all done. Fear of not being good enough. Fear of missing out. Fear of letting go.
And underneath all that, I didn’t know any other way.
As women, we’re constantly taught to put others first, we’re people pleasing, we’re living in our masculine aspects of DOing, and sacrificing our feminine selves. The part of us that is craving time to BE, feel, and enjoy.
Listen, I still enjoy achieving, accomplishing, earning, and doing. But it’s done with ease, flow, and grace from my authenticity as an impactful, powerful and feminine woman.
So, I’m here to share with you how I do this “slowing down” while I get everything accomplished:
When you learn to slow down, it’s healthier! You can be in the present moment, you can listen better, you FEEL BETTER, and you actually have more peace, flow and joy. You may even start to become more successful [I have!] as well as have more fun.
So, what is the first thing you’re going to do to SLOW DOWN? Remember nature does not hurry, but everything is accomplished. Let me know…
Slow and accomplished,
Susan
